About

Mission Statement

My life’s mission is spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. But while doing this, my vision has always been not only to help people generally, but also to see that they achieve their full potential in life through education and skills acquisition in order that they may fulfill their destinies. For not only is the Good News of salvation in Christ spiritual, there is also a social aspect to it. The Great Commandment to love God with all our hearts also says to love our neighbours as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40)—as the parable of the Good Samaritan so beautifully illustrates.

Core Values

Values are the determining factor of life and work. They are what matters to one, what one stands for. They determine one’s priorities and give a clear sense of what is most important in life. So here I would like to share my core values in life:

  1. The only lasting impact any man can make in this world and eternity is investing in the lives of others for we are all created in the image of the one true God.
  2. To whom much is given, much is expected. And as I have been helped immensely of God in life, I owe Him the eternal duty of helping others too.
  3. Education is a transforming agent. Just like the Gospel of my Lord Jesus Christ, it illuminates and transforms the mind and banishes darkness and ignorance. It is an eye opener.

I bless God for empowering my destiny with so much grace to be useful to my generation. I am a product of God’s grace, even if still an imperfect lover of God and man. But ours is a fault-finding generation with people constantly on the lookout for the fault of others—but blind to values. Thus my chequered journey so far in life has taught me to stand up for values, for adding value to people’s lives, for adding value to humanity. Hence the setting up of this foundation, Pastor Wole Oladiyun Foundation, to the glory of God.

There are masses of unfortunate ones these days; many who just can’t afford education. I feel your pain. Why, because I have been there, too. But hear this: Don’t expect anyone to understand your journey—especially if they have never walked your path.

By the grace of God, beneficiaries of PAWOF will do the greater works of advancing the Gospel of our Lord and establish greater foundations of their own to help humanity to the glory of God. Amen.

I wish you all well, in Jesus’ precious name.

Pastor Wole Oladiyun

President, Pastor Wole Oladiyun Foundation

  • Tolulope Unuigbe, University of Benin

I would like to use this opportunity to thank Daddy Oladiyun for the financial assistance granted me concerning my education. By the time I finished my secondary school education, my dad had lost his job, and my mum, a petty trader, was only struggling to support us. There was no hope of writing the JAMB exam, let alone going to a university. All of a sudden, one day there was this announcement in church that the Senior Pastor was going to purchase JAMB forms for all those who couldn't afford it. I was overjoyed as I benefitted from this scheme. I passed my JAMB exam and the UME, gaining admission into the University of Benin to study Philosophy. God's servant, my father-in-the-Lord, paid my fees. May the Lord God continue to bless and keep you and your entire family, in Jesus' name.

  • Emily Mfon, Religious & Cultural Studies University of Uyo

My father-in-the-Lord, Pastor Wole Oladiyun, I want to say a big thank you for making my dream come through. It is my prayer that the good Lord will honour every desire of your heart publicly, in Jesus' name. Like oil on your feet, like a garment for you to wear, and like water for you to shower, may the Lord pour His grace and blessings on you continually in immeasurable quantity, in Jesus' name.

  • Uyime Oku, B.Sc Computer Science, University of Calabar, 2012

I want to use this medium to thank God for using Pastor Wole Oladiyun to be a blessing to me and my family. In 2006, I lost my dad and it was like we had come to the end of the road. All hope was lost; we didn’t know where to run to for help. But I bless the day my family discovered CLAM; we found a family in CLAM. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to God for sending you to help us. From my first year to final year, God used you to be a blessing to me—spiritually, morally, financially, and to see me through university education. It hasn’t been easy but God has been faithful. I was comfortable because of the support I was getting from church. I was never involved in any form of cult activities. God kept me all the way. It isn’t easy for a church to sponsor people academically; I appreciate you, sir. Daddy, I pray that God will continue to bless you and your family. The oil of God on your life will not go dry. Thank you very much, Daddy. I’m very grateful, sir.
